History at a glance
The company was founded on 16th April 1991 by Bernhard Meyer, Wilhelm Wegener and Bakk Vitális Mária Kinga.
The company is growing rapidly reaching a number of 420 employees, while new buildings are added to the initial production capacity of 800sqm, totaling 1800sqm.
The company’s activity is extended with the construction of a modern washing unit.
The favorable market conditions created the opportunity of developing the business, new buildings are added to the initial production and our first logistics center is constructed.
Wilhelm Wegener is appointed honorary citizen of Târgu Secuiesc, due to his involvement and active role in the development of the local community.
The production facilities are completely rebuilt, the Zarah Moden factory became modern and updated.
Due to internal tracking system we ensure full traceability of our products.
We started the construction of a modern logistic center, which reaches 10,000 sqm after continuous expansions.
The basic wastewater purification system is updated to an environmentally conscious one.
The digitalization of the entire production improves efficiency, sustainability, and customer experiences.
It enables us to adapt to changing consumer demands, streamline operations, and unlock new business opportunities.
28th June, 2019 was a memorable day in the lives of the citizens.
The largest park – 12.000 sqm- was assigned for beneficiary use from our company, to the citizens of Târgu Secuiesc.
The personal donation of Mr. Wegener allowed to establish an area of recreation.
By installing more than 1000 solar panels we start generating our own renewable electricity.
Beside our regular SMETA social audits, Carbon Neutral and STeP by Oeko-Tex certification,
which validate our environmentally friendly production process and more than fair working conditions,
we acquire the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) scope certification.
